Recently serviced and PAT tested. 2 x Watts RMS / 4 Ohms, 2 x Watt RMS / 8 Ohms. ventilation (fan off the front), XLR male or female, out HP terminals. C-Audio GB Power amplifier. 2x watts @4 ohms. Very good condition overall, been in a rack case most of its life. Well regarded British. Can someone provide any guide to the history of C-Audio’s amp products?I know the company gb – ok. ra – good studio amp.

Although, as with all Mosfet amps, it can start getting expensive if you have to replace lots of output devices.
The RA wasnt built by C Audio it was built by third generation it was rebadged hp the Ra was the C audio design. The Pulses always seem to be going wrong and sound truly cack on bass duties! I know the company started back in but what was the last range of amps they produced?

The bridge mode is unusual, as doesn’t have a switch for bridge, but uses a Y cable to both XLR’s and the both RED’s of the speaker binding posts as plus and minus. Thanks for that wonderful insight into your crazy world. The GB Series may be bridged externally for higher power gg202 operation. Register a new account. So looks very well built. There still seem to be quite a few different models in use but which of them have proved to be the most reliable?

I’ve had mine, trouble free, for about 4 or 5 years. But is internally bridgeable according to it’s online spec sheet. Well regarded British designed amp, suitable for many uses. As it’s not that much power for pa use.
