I liked the main character Bryce, although I think the author could have done more with his job as a chef. But as more lies pile up, Bryce needs to do some fast talking or he may very well end up the way he’d always imagined – alone. Renwick gave them their own identity — they were themselves first before we see them as a sister, a brother, a daughter or a son.
Although I didn’t particularly like Jenna and her crazy plans or Bryce and his reluctance to “love” I loved their dynamic, heat and romance. The book had a good pace and with the changing scenery I was not bored at all with the drive of the book.
